  • Mr. Mahmoud Al-Sayyed has more than 28 years of practical experience, the last 5 years of which he worked as CEO of Amwal Financial Company (he acquired all the shares of the company in 2021, thus becoming the owner of the capital and making Amwal a one-person with limited liability company). Prior to that, he worked for more than 8 years as Vice President of Strategic Management in a large family group of companies with diversified investments in dozens of companies in different sectors; worked in the same group of companies as a consultant to senior management and the Board of Directors for 4 years, worked for 9 years as an external consultant in various consulting companies, the latest of which was Deloitte International. During his practical experience, he has engineered and arranged many successful deals in the field of mergers and acquisitions. During his practical experience, he provided many consultations in the field of economic feasibility studies, corporate evaluation, financial analysis, strategic planning, and development of governance systems, and administrative organization of companies from various sectors, as well as projects for privatization of government companies and their evaluation to make them available to the private sector for owning and managing them. Mr. Mahmoud Al-Sayyed served as a member of the Board of Directors of a holding company that invests in many chemical and plastic companies. a member of the Rewards and Nominations Committee, a member of the Talent Management Committee of a large family company, in addition to the boards of directors of a number of other companies. He was chosen by the International Institute of Endowment to work within an international technical team to formulate the standard of governance in endowments, and he was a speaker at many conferences and forums. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Administrative Sciences in 1992 and a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 1995. He has many professional certificates in the consulting field, and in project management and strategy implementation. He also completed a Senior Management Program in Strategy from the London Business School.
